Ok this i great. I have a new 03 reg cab R/T. with some mods that are listed below. Some guy in school thinks i am talking to his girl, if i wanted to i would but, i am not. He has a newer camaro v6 and he thinks he is fast. I was wondering how fast these cars are because i will be racing him for money and i dont want to look like an idiot.
Mods:

air aide intake
msd wires, pulgs, and ignition
tb spacer

I wouldn't suggest beating his ass up... just let your truck/actions do your talking. Cause if you don't,... ur truck is liable to get key marks down the side or some crap.
Your R/T will beat him just fine. All you have to do is not peal out. If you can hook up... you'll get him easy. If his is standard you'll be close,... but then again, that also depends on how good he is with the clutch. It'll be a good run, but I say you get him by a car length or so. Stock v6 camaros run high 15s... maybe even low 16's... ur R/T will run a mid 15 easy.
I say.... just hook up, and you'll be fine.

Gee.... lets think about it... it's a z28, Even me having a 4.7L which is faster than an R/T, I wouldn't even mess with a z28, even if it was stock. We were comparing a v6 to an R/T... not a z28 to an R/T.
Just bustin ur chops man!

Talking about old cars, mine would have... a damn good one at that. Took an LT1 camaro by more than a car length. It was a 1992 Eagle Talon TSi. Shit loads of mods; Big 16g turbo, front mount intercooler, CAI, exhaust, fuel management system, etc. Bought it from my brother, never ran it myself at the track, but he ran something like a 12.24. It was pretty quick. I took it out on highway and burried the needle at 145 and my GPS radar detector said that i was doing 153 and that was only at like 5300 RPM, redline was at 6000. Tunnel vision was freaking me out, plus i was comming up to some traffic, so i had to let off. So, i think it would have given it a run...

I completely agree with you about the driver. Actually, it did not cost too much money. He bought it stock for $4000 in 2001. He dropped prolly another $4000-$5000 on mods for a total of $8000-$9000. Still less than an LT1 at that time.

dont worrie about the v6 they only have 200 hp and your truck has 250 you'll give it to him good i know stock stratus 4 bangers that have given it to a v6 with an ss hood . Anyways he should't be talking shit i mean i guess he couldnt afford the z28. i gave up a 420 hp dyno camaro for my dakota right now the 92 was a thrid gen with a 355 init and work . 12.1 at 124 mph.

DSMs are such cool cars, but so much upkeep. With kind of mods, everything breaks. I almost got one, but then decided the thr 99R/T would suit me better. Id rather work on a 5.9 chrysler then that jap motor.

Mine actually held up pretty good. I had it for a year with all of the mods and aside from normal maintaintence, all i had to do was replace a gasket.

 Now I know your not talking about a 4.7 automatic!!!!
With the mods you have you will beat him easily. Even if you roast the tires you'll pull on him. Trust me Ive raced a modded V6 slomaro.
