I backed into something...I know it sucks.
What is an unpainted tailgate going to cost me?
I'd also like a pretty cheap rollpan; what's about the cheapest I can find?
Would a rollpan fitting a 00-01 R/T fit my 99 R/T or is there a difference in styles?

go junk yard and find a used tailgate...cheaper than from the dealers...the rollpan should fit.

Are the Street Scene Gen. 2 roll pan hard to put on? My family is pretty mechanically inclined, but what does it require?

here's a trick...i just got rearended so this is what i did...
bought an unpainted factory tailgate frame without hardware for about 100 on ebay, bought handle relocator from sir michaels for about 60
gave my old tailgate and new frame and relocator kit to shop. shop took old hardware and chopped in the handle kit and painted. i made a 500.00 profit and a shaved tailgate!
