flowmaster 40 or 50????

I am looking to do some exhaust mods to my 01 d. I love the sound of the flowmaster exhaust. However, I do not need to set off car alarms when I drive down the street. So, keeping that in mind which is the best exhaust for me? The 40 or 50 series. Remember i want the rumble and the performance but, do not want to create earthquakes. Thanks. :drink:

I just put a 40 series on mine yesterday and it sounds great. I can bearly hear it above the radio. I love it :smokin:

Can either of you guys tell me the part number needed for a "drop in replacement" of the factory muffler (if there is such a thing)??

no car alarms going off. you can hear this muffler with the windows up cruzin 70mph. i like it, but some think the 50 is too loud. I can get the part number if you want it....

I've got the 50 series delta flow on my truck and am very happy with it. Its not as loud inside the truck as the 40 series. You can't hear it inside while cruising but you can hear it when you get into the throttle some.
