Which T-Stat is better

I hear you can gain horsepower by using a 180 or 160 degree thermostat. I live in Massachusetts and the winters get cold. How much power am i looking at gaining and which one would better for me to use. 160 degree or 180 degree??? :(

use the 180...160 is too low...

Yeah Kaui is right. If you go with a 160 you truck will throw codes and wont warm up very much

can i use a 180 with a jet chip. the guy at pep boys told me it woould work well.
