And on the flip side , I was wondering if a company made a toolbox that fits UNDER a hard tonneau?

FWIW, I had a GenIII ARE LSII hard tonneau on my GenII for a while. I have an in bed toolbox - the kind that fits inside the bed. I ended up flipping the toolbox on its back so the lid hinges were on the floor. The difference in height was just enough to allow the tonneau to close, and there was enough room to open the lid to access the inside. It was a little less convenient, but worked ok for me. The box was one of the Wal Mart treadplate ones - Better Built Co. made it.
