How Tight??

I have a 01 club quab with the 9.25 rear (12 bolt) and I am changing the rear gasket and fluid. I need to know the torq specs for the diff. cover.
By the way I know where to get a gasket if anyone is interested.

My Dodge service manual states 30 ft-lb for the 9.25. I think that is with using Red/Orange RTV (When using synthetic gear oil) not a gasket.

Somebody help nickxrunner out. I don’t use gaskets unless they were used by the manufacture. I guessing you would use the same torque.

I do not know if you have figured out the answer to your question yet, but atv is basically a "gasket" in itself. SO you should be fine with torquing it the same. Just make sure to check it often to see if it leaks at all.
