2000 Durango Speaker Upgrade

I have a 2000 Durango SLT+ with the Infinity speakers, stock head unit and Sirus Audiovox PnP satellite radio. I would like to upgrade the speakers, but I have a few questions and I want to keep everything behind the stock enclosures. Is the stock head unit/(amp if there is one) strong enough to run decent speakers? What kind/type of speakers are in there now? Are they two ways in the bottom of the door are tweeters in the top or are the basically cheap components? :help:

I replaced the bottom front door speakers with Kenwood 6.5"/160 watt Speakers. I left the rest of the system stock. With this upgrade the system sounds 100% better! Someday the back door speakers will get replaced.

the front doors has 6.5" seperates. the back door has 6.5" coaxials
seperates are where the woofer and the tweeter are 2 "seperate" components. coaxial is where the tweter is mounted in the middle of the woofer.
your infinity system does have a stock amp, and it will sound a little better with aftermarket speakers like alpines, kickers, or anything
