Has anyone put the battery way out back by the axle?
I dont want to relocate it into the bed interior or anywhere visible.
Got any pics of your work?

I put it in the rear on my Durango. Made a lot of room under the hood.

Did you weld up a platform or make a battery box?

A buddy of mine made a custom battery box and a bracket, so it is easy to swap the battery, yet the truck is still able to go across water.

All i can really tell you is dont use the wire they send with the kit, you need to upgrade to 0 gauge wire or you will have slow, sluggish, or no starting that far back...good luck!

The best stuff is always custom stuff.

summit sells relocation kits, along with a lot of other places. Mounting is gonna depend on what kind of battery u have, since most cant be just thrown around. With Optimas and several other types, mounting wont matter, as long as its secure. And also, custom usually is the best, when u know what ur doing.
