Mopar Happening in Belvidere Illinois

Heads up if you live in northern Illinois or southern Wis., on July 15-16 the annual "Chicagoland Mopar Happening" is at the Boone County Fair grounds in Belvidere, Illinois. The is the home of the DC Plant that is making the new Caliber and Jeep.

Last year the number of Dakotas was off from our high of 21. I'd sure like some company for my truck, need to see some nice trucks this year.

"Hemi Under Glass" 426 barracuda will be there again, he only starts it and revs it a few times, but it's all there.

I'll add some more info as I think of it.

I'm beating the idea around in my head ,been wanting to attend a chicago mopar event for awhile.

I understand some vendors are being hit by gas prices so some shows were down on the number of vendors. I've got a set of black Luverne? step bars off my '03 QC that I want to sell. Didn't work with my 2WD.

The fairgrounds is hot so wear stuff to protect you from the sun.

The event is on for Saturday and Sunday at the Boone Co. Fairgrounds.

Oh.... the Mustang Club and Mopar are doing a Dual Show, so there is supposed to be 100+ Fords in the adjoining area. :nana: :nono: :jester:
