well fist off just want to say whats up to everyone ... the post about 04+ d owners to step up got me movitaved to join ... well being new i kinda new here not sure if im askin these questions in the right forum ... but does anyone know who makes a lowering kit ..springs .. anything for a 05 durango ..4x4 ... i know i can bag it ..but want to see what my other options are.. can someone help ..

also if anyone u already have an exhuast what did u go with ? why ? i'm thinking of just makin my own kit with a flowmaster 50ser. suv performance muffler... just because its a lil more toned down (cab noise) then the kit they offer for the durango .. but ive heard the magnaflow on the outside and it great but is there alot of cab noise ?

ok last thing was just a comment ...to the person who contacted vis did u discuss a group buy with them ? i'd love to see a shaker hood or ram air like the srt-10 .
i have also been pestering kenne bell about the supercharger kit ...500hp ... but they cant get over some electrical issues and dodge isnt ready to help . i think if enough of us keeped on them about the kit it might pressure them to finally finish it .

last question ..lol.. we have all seen the durango night runner right . well does the part dept sell the blk headlights only ? has anyone looked into it ? well sorry for such a long post .. hope u guys can help

Here's some responses for ya:

Lowering kit - Eibach has a kit to drop the rear I believe 2" and you can crank the front torsion bars to level it out.

Exhaust - Magnaflow and Flowmaster seem to be the biggest hitters out there right now. If cabin noise is a concern, leave the resonator on when you install it.

Durango Night Runner - Yes, they sell the parts. The headlights are about $220 each. DAMN! I'd love to get a set though.

The Flowmaster 50's sound great on the V8's. Excellent rumbling, but not annoying to drive. The kids love the sound from inside, and the friends love the roar when I am running by.

I was going for the kits, but there were to much "ifs" about them (even checked the Borla). So I went to a Racing Muffler Shop (pretty far from home) and told them what I wanted and how. We installed a 3" Flowmaster 50 and made (and routed) the piping from the Cathalyc Converter back to the end. Even ending like the OEM piping (so that it would look suspicious to the Law Enforcement Patrol). Hanged at same points and even placed the O2 sensor at same distance and angle. Took a while, but it was well worth it. Engine feels like its really alive.
