Need help with motor

This is a repost, with a different angle.

I have a 5.2 V8, I had a new motor put in about 1 1/2 ago, the trany was rebuilt about 8 months ago.

The motor feels like it is dragging. It is not burning oil. When I step on it, well it feels like it falls flat. What can I do to trouble shoot?

What are the modifications?

Did this problem start right away or did it start after you put some miles on it?

over-ambitious throttle body mod? too large will affect low to mid range performance...
