Arrived home today from a trip to Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and Chattanooga.
We took the wifes 01 4.7 Durango. Averaged about 18 mpg with two adults, two kids, and a load of luggage and junk.
Had a great time. Ran out of shit to do in Chattanooga so we went cruisin. Probably as much fun as some of the sites. My 13yr. old daughter picked a red light run with what appeared to be a nice looking and sounding 70 Camaro. :nana:
He ate plenty of Dodge and Chevron exhaust. :drive: What an embarrissing piece of shit. He wouldn't even pull up next to us at the next light. My daughter wanted to torment the hell out of him. :slap:
She is used to my 383 stroker Camaro. Hate to say it but the old lady's Durango wouldn't beat it off the line more or less any further.
Any way we left Pigeon Forge as they are preparing for their big car show. Man there was plenty of muscle from all makes parked in lots. Wish I could have stayed through the week.
Well it was an 8 hour drive making close to the legal speed limit (75-80).
So any one who lives in or around Alabama support Ryan and his meet. All it takes is a little driving time. Maybe a night in a hotel for a few.
Anyway we will be there with both Durangos.
