I saw it on one of the pictures for the new Dakota.. Looks like a subwoofer or something.

It's the "Soundbox." 10" subwoofer, amp, pair of tweeters, and lighting inside the enclosure. That photo is actually a pre-production piece, the shipping one looks a bit different (no gloss on the top cover, box ribs are different.)

I think you can only get it with the truck. adding it on later would be a pain.
