Well, I was on my home from my fiance's house tonight and I pulled up next to a newer Jetta. This guy looked like a little spoiled punk kid with is girlfriend in the passenger seat. He looked at me and I looked at him and gave him a nod. Once the light turned, I had a perfect take-off. I had him by a little (he was about 3 feet past me rear bumper) until i got up to about 80, then i had to let off because we were comming to another red light. Then he blew by me. Maybe he thought won, which he deffinately did not. Maybe he did not realize how much harder it is to stop a 5000 lb. vehicle wersus a 2500 pounder. Oh well, that is a kill in my book and all I've got is a home brew intake. :mullet:

Sweet. A race is a race, one thing i hate is ricers sayin oh u got 4 more cylinders. True we have double the cylinders, but also have double the wight. Its like they make excuses so they dont feel bad about losing. If they win you will never hear the end of it.

I don't know about how many more... I don't really race that much. I use to when i had my eagle talon, but i got too many speeding tickets and had to get rid of it. That is when i got the D. But i will never turn down a race, especially if a guy has his girl with him... :woot:

yea but if you were to actually lose to one you would feel more fucked up than they do when they loose to us...haha...not to mention we would probably tease the crap out of you for loosing to a ricer...you wouldnt be able to show face here anymore, get red flagged or something...haha...and knowing them, it would be all over their forums with your licnese plate # and vehicle discription, talking smack about beating you...then you would get called out all the time...sorry got a little carried away. :poke:

I dont care what anywone says, 4 cylinders are for whimps and old people, V6's for poeple who wish they had a v8 and a V8 for anyone who knows what they are doing. If a little neon srt-4 has 4 cylinders i dont care how fast it is... its a fancy pants little shit that weighs nuthin. You want a little car? then get a Dodge Magnum R/T or something...

On another note... i can't race with my girl in the car, she gets mad at me. Even if im not racing and go a lil fast shes gets pisy.. *SIGH*

Ok, you can't bad talk all 4 bangers... and i think the SRT-4 was too far. It is ok to talk about slow 4 bangers that are in fact slow but people try to run them like they are fast, but there is no need to bad talk 4 bangers that are actually fast. Pretty much any DSM and now the SRT-4 is quicker than shit! Kind hard to put something like that down. Now it is ok to make fun of ANY car that is riced out (i.e. 5 foot wing, hundreds of decals, fart can on a N/A 4 banger, etc.) but not on something that will do 0-60 in 5.8 (SRT-4) or 6.2 (Eclipses, Talons, and Lasers) bone stock. Not to mention if they do the same upgrades that we do (exhaust, intake, etc.) they can easily drop .2-.4 off of those times and help put them into low 13s. Don't get me wrong, i hate ricers and i love a good strong V8, but as for a car with speed, i would take one of them any day. i mean hell, i used to have a 1992 Eagle Talon TSi front wheel drive and i put the hurt to a LT1 Camaro. Keep in mind that mine costed half as much brand new... Maybe if i were rich i would get a Vette, but then again if i were rich, i would probably go for a Viper. But i am not, so i will take my little DSM pocket rocket and do some damage. By the way, my bro has a 95 Talon TSi AWD and he has a total of $11000 in it (including the cost of the car which was $8000)and it is running low 12s high 11s depending on the weather. Not too pricey to have that fast of a car.

If I was rich the hell with a viper or a vette, the Porsche 911 GT2 is the definite way to go. That car will smoke anything that you put next to it. 0-60mph in 4 seconds. Don't get me wrong I love the viper, it is definitely a sweet ride but to tell you the truth it is one of the most uncomfortable cars to drive. The drivers side is very cramped and you are unable to move the seat back. Also the clutch is about a 1/2" from the side wall. Not so great if you need to switch gears quickly. But you gotta love the way the Viper and Vette sound when you hammer on the gas. Nice deep natural muscle car sound. Got to love American Engineering. None of the high pitched European crap.

Don't get me wrong, i love that car, but hell, my brothers car will do that. maybe not that quick 0-60, but after the turbo is spooled up, damn.... i think his latest run what a 12.14 at something like 122.4. But still, i too would love to have that car, just for the styling of it.

Oh i am sure! I definately not saying that my bros car is as good as these, i am just kinda depressed that they are not any faster in the quarter. if they were not so concerned with top speed, i am sure that they could prolly get these things to do the quater in about 11 sec. easy.

I think that I would hurt my neck goin that fast. The porsche is only rocking 6 cylinders. When I was a valet I got to 0-80-0 in one city block in a Porsche 911 4S. My head was literally pinned to the seat. That was damn fast.
I bet that was a rush. I wish that i lived in a bigger city where there were places to be a valet. I bet that would be a cool job to have. Even if it was only on the weekends. i bet it paid pretty good too...

I still do it one day a week every other week. Basically pays for my mods for my Durango. That is my reasoning to the wife at least. I was making between $35-$40k a year working 4 days a week. The clubs are the best place to work without a doubt. Drive the best cars and make the most money. The most I ever made in one night was $319 in tips in 4 hours not including my $9/hr pay. I only parked 14 cars. That night I drove Antoine Walkers Bentley($100 front spot), some strippers e-class benz(she came in twice that night for a total of $140 for up front), a couple Porsches, Range Rovers, BMW's, etc., etc. It was agreat job. I have seen a lot and have done a lot. All I have to say is whenever you valet treat the valets with respect and they will take care of you and your car. I have driven pretty much every car under the sun at this point. Besides a few of the ultra-exotic makes. Ferrari, lotus, maserati, porsche, viper, hummer, Acura nsx, vette's, bentley's, rolls, are all included in cars that I have driven plus a whole bunch more.
