The 2nd annual KSHE car show is on Sun 4/23 at Gateway International. I am planning of going and entering my truck. Is anybody else interested in going, let me know and hopefully we could all meet up and park together.

Lets see where to start... Ive got some kinda ding on every section of my truck, a dent in the back off the truck next to the rollpan that i tried to fix myself but it turned out like shit, someone keyed my door at wal-mart, load fell over the side of my truck and dented the bed rails a little, too many rock ships on the hood to count, it just keeps going on and on. Oh and I still have the stock 15's with bald tires, they are so bald they look like racing slicks. Money is kinda tight right now or else I would get all this fixed. All that stuff is just external problems so lets start with the other stuff, tranny is making some wierd noises and is hard to shift sometimes so I think that the syncro's and clutch are about to go, exhaust manifold bolt broke off inside the block and now it leaks, exhuast leaks in the rear from a crappy welding job that was done at my local garage. You see what im talking about now its depressing to look at my truck I just cant wait for me to finally graduate and then trade this sucker in for a R/T. In just a few more months I should be cruising in a nice and shiny R/T :)

I live in Bourbon, about 35min away from Rolla and I am up there for work all the time. That Blue R/T sometimes is at UMR, it is bad ass! :biggthump

Ya I see it at Country Mart almost every time im up there. Its awesome, it has a stillen bumper cover, SS hood, 20" Wheels, flush tonneau, and a rollpan. As far as performance goes I have no idea.

Man thats fast. Strap on a supercharger and then lets see what it runs. The only racing I ever see is street racing. I bet my truck is struggling to run 16's lol. Just a few more months till I graduate then I will be able to get an R/T.

I remember when I saw your truck in Rolla while my truck was in the bodyshop. Me and my friend pulled up next to you in his firebird and you spun your tires, that made my day :) I dont get to see too many R/T's around here so every time I see one its like christmas :jester:

traction problems since I redid my heads.I pulled my Cal tracs off
today to modify them.

How did you port you throttle body and manifold? Do you have some kind of special tool that you use cause Ive just been using a drill with a 2" Flapper Wheel.

I'm a tool grinder by trade.I have die grinders(air & electric) and
assorted burrs & wheels.Some of the intake work was done on
a mill where I work.

I think i'm going to enter my truck just to haul in a cooler and some chairs and maybe a canopy. If we park together we can pitch the canopy between the trucks and have a pow wow. Last year all they were selling was 22oz beers which got warm too fast. I'm liking the 'have a cooler' aspect.

Oh this is just FKN GREAT!!! Family members coming down from Maryland this weekend so it looks like I wont be able to make it :cussing: I tried to get them to goto the carshow but I guess not. They do however want to goto St.Louis on saturday to attend a gay cardinals game, dont get me wrong I love the cardinals but not this weekend I dont. If anything changes I will let you guys know but as for now I cant go. Be sure to get some pictures.

Mine broke last weekend at the easter car show, but I will probably be buying 1 or 2 this week sometime, I am assuming that the show will be on the big parking lot where the pits are (like for NHRA if your not familiar, between the drag track & hwy 203) so I wouldn't put one up since you won't be able to anchor it down. I'll bring mine anyway.

What time is everyone going to get there. It opens at 7:30am. I plan to get there early probably around 7:00am (it also depends on when I leave the track the night before since I'll be racing). another thing is I think the drag track will be open, which I plan on doing.

We all need to show up at the same time so we can park together. I am getting there at 7:00am (probable go in at 7:15-7:30 if waiting for others) so I can clean the truck a little before it opens and so I can get 1 of the dash plaques.

I'll be there at Gateway on Friday night and Saturday. I'll see if I can find a spot for you to park (hopefully inside). I'll let you know probably on sat morning. There is a section for public parking for when the big events are in town. I'll probably make a few passes on sunday since they'll have the drag track open

It won't be cancelled. My brother called KSHE on thursday and they said there already was about 800 pre-registered cars

It was pretty cool. There were a ton of good looking cars. I had a turkey leg or bratwurst that ended up making me sick though. I spent half the night sick from food poisoning. It was nice to meet some fellow Dakota owners too, even if you are groundhuggers. :nana:
