Does anyone have one of these and if so could you make a reccomendation on them? I'm looking at getting a flush mount box cover as well (checkmate) so I'm wondering which spray in liner will work with this. Any suggestions?

Hey get a Hurculiner small amount of time to prep the bed then roll on. This stuff is the best, if your are interested I will send pics of my bed liner. Herculiner cost about 115.00 a gallon but much cheaper then a spray. Check Napa they carry it. See Ya, Kevin

Rhino liner and line-x are 2 of the best spray in bed liners out there. I heard the herculiner is a waste of money cause it scratches off. I have the rhino liner and had no problems so far.

This is what i was going to do in the next couple of weekends. I wonder if you put a bunch of coats on if it will still scratch off. I was only going to do the floor of the bed and nothing else

I have a Line X, and I talked with them seriously about their product. Nothing is better. The Rhino Liner is also good, but Rhino Liner doesnt dry fast, it takes longer than Line X. Rhino Liner goes on cool, Line X goes on hot, so it dries faster, and to me, it has a much cleaner spray pattern, but that is just my opinion.

Line-x is everything Rhino is... plus a little more. They are both durable, both last a long time... are reasonably priced, but line-x can be modified to fit exact paint color and such. Line-x you can put a huge dodge symbol in the bed, and it looks GREAT... show quality great. Rhino is mostly like three different colors (I think), and doesn't have a shiny/glossy look to it, which is what I would want for show quality... PLUS... the whole outside of the truck is shinny/glossy, so why not the bed?
Line-X all the way!

Everything you said is true. I wish I had thought of putting a ram logo in my bed before I got it sprayed in. Oh well.

I don't remember who it was on here but somebody put a big R/T on the back wall of the bed then line-x'd it all. It was a red R/T club cab if I remember right.

I don't think it would! It would show that your trying to make your truck stand out from others

It doesnt necissarily have to be the letters of your trim, you do own a dodge, you could use a rams head logo, or just use the word "DODGE." Be creative.

Been trying to sell it for the past year actually. Just haven't had any offers. I've got to get something cheaper. Just bought a house last July and it kinda stretched me a bit on the thin side. If I do sell this one I plan on buying an older R/T. Course then it will work out the same cuz then I'll be blowin money on it to soup it up. Life - its a viscious cycle.

I hear you on that house thing! me and the wife bought a house about 2years ago and we are that way to. I think we are going to try and sell it and get somthing alot cheaper at least less than $700 a month. We just don't have any spare $$ to do stuff. it really sucks
oops :hijack:

$700 a month.
Thats what I am paying on mine. But I took a 20 yr note cuz I plan to sell it after about 5 years. That way I can have some more equity in it.

I think we might get a modular home, double wide or something so we can have a little fun and do stuff with our lifes. We are both only 20 yrs old and we'll have plenty of time to own another house later down the road.
Live life while you can before you have kids and huge house payments is what we are saying!

Yup, we get a lot of tornadoes. Makes it exciting. You don't know when you wake up in the morning wether your house is there or not. We have really good meteorologist here though. The biggest majority of tornadoes and be detected and fair warning can be given out so people have a chance to make it to shelter.

unless you figure out a way to park it in the cellar with you, you better have good insurance. I've got a oversized 2 car garage that I park in. It will protect it from rain and hail but there ain't chit for tornado protection. tornado comes your house will go bye bye and the truck with it. This is what you'll be doing when the tornado passes - either  or
This may be stupid, but how would you put the Ram head logo in the bed to be sprayed? What material, etc? Also do you have to take the little plastic caps of the bottom for the spray in liners?
I think I am going to Line-X our Silver '02, have to decide what color and if I want under or over the rails, I am leaning to under, and black as I am about to add a Xtang vinyl tonneu (sp?) cover.

corrections: Rhino does come in any color ( not just 4) and you can just have a graphics shop put a ramhead in your bed w some paint. see sport truck magazine - they had an article on it a month or 2 ago - ive done my share of research on these for my own project:
right now i am about to start a bit of a bed project. i am taking out the drop in (mopar) liner, and adding a Gemtop GT Classic (almost) flush tonneau, a black under rail Rhino liner, and paint to touch up the areas the stupid drop in screwed up ill see if i can run a post this fall on how it all is (pics mayb).
total cost: ( including taxes)
Gemtop topper: 925 shipped(painted)
Rhino: 425
paint 425
total: way too mucking fuch - but it will look badass
