compression ratio

i know that if you are using a blower or turbo it is better to have low compression to run more boost. what about nitrous? would it run ok with 10.3 compression?

I wouldn't, I'm bumping mine to 9.5:1 with nitrous but that would the MAX I would go, maybe 9.8:1 if you're real brave. :)

Actually that depends on many other factors. For instance if your running aluminum heads I'd say yes no problem, they disapate heat fast enough. You running forged pistons? How many miles on the engine? I think you get the idea; give us a little more information and you'll get a more acturate answer.
