Well Im gonna go ahead and get a feel for who would like to attend one of these. I was thinking Saturday the 25th of march. Its a weekend so it should work for everybody plus its like three weeks away so everybody can try an work it into the schedules. Im going to talk to a few local business' down there see were we can park up. So whoevers in on that date, or has any suggestions just feel free to post it up. I think this would be an awesome way to meet new people, maybe we could even go for cruise. Please post up let me know what yu all think.

Cruising sounds cool. the 25th works for me! Who is going to contact local businesses around there and find a place for us to chill. I am sure someone there would like the extra business. If I am not mistaken there is a truck stop around there, I am sure they wouldnt mind (HAHA get it... TRUCK STOP!) anywho!!! :biggthump

I can be there (I am here at C Springs until April 8th) if you do not mind me having my Magnum. It was just to far to drive the Dakota as you never know how the weather is this time of year.

Your not kidding it doesnt ever seem like the wind quits here. I love this place but hate the wind and weather sometimes.

If anyone in the area would like to buy NEW stainless steel nerf bars I can deliver them during the meet. Shipping these things are expensive.

Depending on when and where, I would attend a meet and greet.

Can't guarantee as the wife is expecting twins to be born any time this month with the last week in March kind of the target window. So a good chance I could be busy.

Well its a go at sonic off of i-25 an founders parkway next to the king soopers. so lets say at 2 pm we can all meet up if that works for everybody. So post up let me know whos all comming.

Saturday the 25th of March @ 2PM. I will be there.

This is for the Springs PEEPS.

1: Merge onto I-25 N toward DENVER. 42.1 miles

2: Take the MEADOWS PKWY / FOUNDERS PKWY exit- EXIT 184- toward NORTH US-85. 0.3 miles

3: Turn RIGHT onto FOUNDERS PKWY / MEADOWS PKWY. Continue to follow FOUNDERS PKWY. <0.1 miles

4: End at Sonic Drive-In
210 Founders Pkwy, Castle Rock, CO 80104, US

We could all Hook up and roll that way together....say 1 at the Wal Mart on North Academy.....what ya think?? That way noone gets misplaced and we get some cruise time in on the way there! :drive:

Don't Forget Anyone who has some spare Parts Layin' around bring them too, may just be able to get rid of them. I know that I have a Huge List of parts that I'd be interested in! :banana2:

What time should we meet up? 1PM? What do you think? It should not take more than an hour to get to castle rock.

Wait a min. Everyone here is from Co Springs except Colorado R/T. We should meet here and have him drive down here. HAHA just kidding. Hope more show up then just the people that post here.

Yeah...I was thinking around 1 o'clock or so. I'm really hoping that more show up too. There are a lot of us in Colorado but only a few of us are posting. I'm really hoping that some people bring some parts too!

What kinda parts?

I have some stock rockers and push rods, a stock TB w/ brackets, and a stock intake and a stock set of headers :) oh, and some stock valve covers too. Have an extra set of valve cover gaskets too..didn't realize the magnum covers were going to come with a set.

I don't know for sure if I'd be up for a drive to Castle Rock from Loveland..I'll have to see how I'm feeling then.

My truck is finally running again and I'd love to get down there, But I've got people's fair tryouts with my band at 2pm.

IF this is going to be a many hour thing let me know.

I've got a lot of parts to bring too.

Those of us in the Springs are meeting up at 1, to drive up...we're all meeting in Castle Rock at 2 or so....look to previous post by Dakolorado for directions. If I had to guess I'd say we're gonna be there a couple of hours at least. Bring whatever parts you can, never know what someone might need.

are we still doing this????? I forgot about it till last night and this morning dug up the thread and its tomorrow!

I can make it, tho.... i wanted to work on the bronco, but as long as theres guna be a bunch of peeps to make it worth it, ill check it out.

I will meet at the walmart on north academy @ 1pm, as soon as i find out where the hell it is. Prolly be theres at 1230 to be sure i dont miss the boat. lol

another bump.... hopefully this hasnt fell by the wayside and were still doing this, I'd also like to make sure that the ONE GUY from denver will be there. If he aint, we might as well stay in the springs.

I didn't read that before, you guys won't be at castlerock till 2pm? I'll have to be out by then probably. I was planning on coming at 1pm for a bit. Aynone else in Denver that would be down there at that time?

Or is it just you springs guys.

well, seeings how this thread has been dead for a few days and Dak is already bailing, im guna bail as well..... we should start this up once again, and try and stay motivated about it. I may change my mind if i see more peeps saying they will make it..... but as of right now im out....

It's a great idea, and for those of us that have moved here recently, I've been looking for people that know the trails, and would be up for some wheeling. It'd be great to get together with some daks and durangos. Maybe put more dodges on a trail than jeeps for once.

I think Castlerock is a good place. This was just a bad weekend. Lets try again.

only prob with colorado4x4 is that they make u pay unless u have an isp e-mail, which i dont. ie: if you register with a yahoo or gmail address, you have to pay to register. :cussing:
