Hello all, maybe someone will have a suggestion on a current problem I am having with my 2004 SLT.
The rear left driving light does not work. Brake, turn signals, all work. Everything including driving light works on right side. I unplugged the rear left light, and plugged it into the right side only to see all of the lights operate okay.
I have verified there is no voltage present on this input wire at the light, but okay at the fuse terminal.
Is there anyone that has had a similar problem and what is the resolution? I assume that there is a damaged connection within the wire harness at some point. Does anyone know a good publication that depicts the wiring schematics is good detail???
My other option is maybe to run a wire from the right rear driving light and just connect it to the left side input to the light as they should be the same voltage and signal. Does anyone know if this will cause any issues????
Thanks!!!!!!
**Also, as a side note: My Durango is still under warranty, but the dealership will not look into the problem because I have a "NON-Factory" installed tow package. (they will look at it, but only at a hefty fee). I have since removed all of the towing lights/connector to ensure it did not result in the problem - as it did not.
