Trying to get a group together in my area to start a real active 4x4 club. Serious inquires only. And its not for trucks that don't leave the road. I am going to try to get meets and excursions together if I can find enough participation. It will be open to all trucks that can atleast handle a trail rating of two. Some of the trails are rated as a four, and none are a five. I have driven the area from Seqoiua to pismo extensively and have alot of good trails for some killer weekends. If you know anyone interested, let me know so I can decide if it is going to be worth the work it will take to make a killer club. Thanks guys in advanced

Would be interested in joining your Dak 4x4 group. My truck is an '01 QC 4x4 and as yet I've not done anything to modify it. Just went on the Molina Ghost Run this past weekend outside of Coalinga and the Dak was able to keep up with the Jeepers for most of the trails (some spots it needs to be lifted), so I'll probably get it lifted sometime within the next year. I live in the North Bay, but don't have a problem with driving to wherever the runs might be and am interested in learning about this truck from anyone else whose got one and uses it off-road.

Sounds good. Thats cool that you were in Coalinga. I just moved away from Avenal and up to Fresno a couple of weeks ago. I have been all over clear creek in Coalinga and enjoyed it there. As soon as I get enough people together I will give everyone more info on how this thing is going to start up. Thanks for the input and I will keep in touch.

is it bad to bring back a thread that's this old?! I did a search for 'fresno'. I assume since hemikota wasn't registered he probably hasn't been on here. anyone in the fresno area on here? anyone do real 'wheelin?

I am interested but my shifts are a big interference. Keep me posted. I am hoping to retire in December - depending on what Obama and Ahnold do to us.

I know I'm sorta late, I would love to do some stuff too, but my Dakota is only 2WD so good idea not to risk it huh? Could it still handle some tamer stuff?
