Hello all, I know Im new to this board and just to quote I did search around this forum to try and answer my question, so..here it goes. I have a 98 durango SLT 4x4 and my altercation deals with lifting it. I havent decided whether I want to dubb it out or lift it yet, but I have heard bad things about lifting them. Everyone I've talked to about it says the minute you lift them you run into all sorts of problems. I want to run 5" adjustable coil lifts in the front and do a axle flip to the rear with a 3" body and stuff 38's. but should I consider a no go on the lifted durango?? any input on this topic is deeply appreciated.

this might be a dumb question but were u planning on rebuilding the frt suspension? 4wd dakotas/durangos have torsion bar frt suspensions there are no coil springs in frt. and even with tuff country's 5.5 inch lift and a 3 inch body im not sure youd be able to fit 38s under it without major trimming. must guys run 35s with this setup.
