We need to get a Ohio meet going on here in the next few months. I am hooking up my truck and want to see and roll with other Daks. I have such a good time chating with everyone on here and would like to hang out with some of you local guys. I live between Cleveland and Akron so I am willing to drive some to a meet if need be. Let me know what you guys are thinking and we can go from there. I know the weather kinda sucks right now, but soon it will be nice out. Well lets hear some input. Thanks Ben

Hey man I totally agree! I always wanted to meet up with other dak owners in Ohio. I mean my truck really isnt show off material yet but i would still like to check out other peoples! I live just south of Columbus. I hope we can get some people together. Great idea man :clap2:

Well I am thinking we are not going to do this till about the end of march or first few weeks of april. I want to have my work done and the weather somewhat nice. Anyone form any state is more than welcome. I look at us as one big on-line family. I am thinking along the lines of early dinner and then go rollin for a bit. It will have to be on a Saturday if at all possible. I will plan this more as the time progresses. Thanks Ben.

There will be a new post once we determine a place/ date and time. I would like to make it on a Saturday afternoon and in the Cleveland or Akron aera. I was thinking along the lines of an early dinner and then everyone go rolling for a bit. I have been thinking about having it at Quaker Stake and Lube in Vally View, but that is just an idea. Anyone can chim in with Ideas anytime they want.

Yeah i am leaning more twards the Akron as well. I just got to think of a cool place to meet down there where we can all hang, eat and hang out by the trucks for a bit.

Agreed, Akron area would be a pretty sweet place to have it, I'm about 30-45 mins away if that. Just let me know when and where sounds like it'll be great.

Sorry, but this meet is going to take place in the Akron aera. Toledo is just a bit far for alot of us. Akron is with in 30-60 mins from most of the people that are interrested. Now that we have a aera, we just need a place, date and time. I am thinking about meeting at summit racing, then rolling out twards the Chapel hill aera for some dinner. What do you think of that Idea. Summit is only a few miles outside of Akron. Let me know if this sounds cool, before I call Summit and get permission to meet there. Thanks Ben

I like the sound of that, my brother is in Poland OH he said he was about 35 minutes fro Summit Racing. I can't do the first part of March. Mom will be in from AR.

Well here is the date and time. I called Summit and left a message for the guy to make sure it's ok to meet there. I'm sure it is, I just want to do the right thing and ask. Ok hears the plan unless we can't meet at summit so mark your calendar. The first part of the meet will be at Summit racing on March 25th at about 4:00pm. We can chat and check out each others trucks and walk around the store for a bit, then after that we will roll out to Fazoli's at chapel hill to get some food it is about 5-8 miles from summit. I picked Fazoli's becasue it's good, cheap, and you order and pay at the counter and that is alot easyer with alot of people, then to have a waitress plus they have awsome all you can eat bread sticks :biggthump . the Fazoli's is at

Guys that sounds like a bunch of fun and i am really looking forward to meeting everyone and seeing everyones trucks... even a good DRIVE would be nice! It'll Probably take me about 2 or 2 1/2 hours to get there depending on how i drive... but i do plan on coming! but if anything comes up i will let you guys know! I'm Excited!!!! :clap2: :mullet:

Well it looks like we are going to have a good ture out. If this meet goes well then there will be others as the spring and summer progresses. i am going to make a post for this meet in a week or to so that is where we will sign up. I am getting so siked.

I traded in my 98 Dakota for a 03 Durango... Needed the room with a new baby and all.

I guess the Ohio State Patrol frowns on car seats in the back of a 2dr Dakota, go figure.
