Purchased a Mopar Hood Shield.......

I don't know what a "hood shield" is but if your talkin about a bug deflector, it will depend on the car wash, most will have a sign that says somethin like they are not responsible for anything that breaks off in the wash. I wouldn't chance it, just wash it by hand, or if it's too cold out (like it is here) go to a touchless carwash, one that has no brushes just water jets. Should be alright.

Thank you for the response. It's been a little cold here in Colorado to wash by hand. I will definately look for a touchless carwash.
