well i made my mind this mornin on a debut i had to myself of "more work to look good or performance?" and i decided More Power... so i figured the turbo route as it has been said to improve gas mileage also, this is my daily driver so pls keep that in mind, motor info is in my sig, i need some help in shinin some light on the subject and a few i have some questions, i only wanna run around 5 or 6 psi all the time, so 1. can my stock internals handle the boost and last? 2. can the sh*tty belly pan hold up to the pressure? i plan to replace with an aps pan. 3. how much power increase am i lookin at? 4. is there anything else i need to consider about goin turbo? and no i dont want a v8, 408 would be nice but im happy with my 6.
also what made my mind was i had a lil run in with a new eclipse -06 models- from 65 mph -105 mph, 2 tries, 1st he took off first and i stayed with him but him walkin off a lil to 90 mph, 2nd time i dropped into 3rd instead of O/D this time and he took off the same time and i was walkin off a lil til around 4700 rpms -guess around- when the truck jerked shiftin into 4th at 100 and he backed off at 105 so i did also. what a rush, havent had a race in some months :biggthump Thanx everyone for the comments in advanced. your opinion does matter.
