I've got a stock 2000 dakota ( BLACK ) with Black and Slate Gray interior. I'm at a point where I might want to throw a little color on the beast. I need to get the whole truck hammered out and painted...but right now I am poor.

I was thinking that a classic mopar green might be a good accent color. I'd use it on the calipers, drums, intake, and maybe a couple other places.
I was trying to stay away from the classic black combinations(red, yellow, silver) but I definitely don't wanna gawdy truck...
What do you guys think?

could it work, or would it look like shit?

I think Green calipers n such would look nice. But I'd hit the drums with black. Painted drums are kinda... ghey. But a nice coat of black makes them look 'nice' :biggthump

Yeah, I just went to visit a classic car dealership in raleigh today. They had a Duster in Mopar green, luckily enough. I think it will come out right If i use it very minimally. I think rally stripes might be to ricer...a superbee style bedstripe might look good though. I also thought about doing a cuda style sidestripe would look ok, maybe. but I'll definately go with the calipers...maybe get the greenstuff pads when I upgrade...Gotta wait for the temp to come up first, so winter will be the save up and plan phase.

Cuda style bilboard side graphics are hot.... you don't want a green Bee stripe on the back of your bed with out having anything to balance it out but that is my opinion... Love the Classic Lime green Idea though nice! :banana2: :clap2: :mullet: :biggthump
