I have a 1997 Dakota Sport with 6.5 ft bed that is in good mechanical condition. However, last winter it was struck from behind by a passing Tractor Trailer and the left rear corner of the bed was turned into an accordian. I'd like to replace it, but even used beds are out of my retired price range. I just today found a 1995 Dakota Sport bed and tailgate complete that I can get for $150 but I cannot find anyone to confirm whether it will fit the later frame. I know the body panels will be different and that is OK. I just want to get a complete bed.
Will this work? :help:

Not everyone uses their trucks for look. He might need it as a work truck, and $150 for a whole bed is about 10x's cheaper than anything i would expect
