Does anybody know if K&N has a warranty on there cold air intakes. mine has cracked and i cant spend another 250 for a new one. Any better intakes? :wave:

i seen a thread about this awhile ago...i think if you call K&N and tell them about it, they'll send you a new one...not completely sure though...but its worth a try :biggthump

i am pretty sure they will replace it for you. Which is good, b/c yea, they are expensive to replace.

Call K&N, talk to Marty Herbage,she will send a new one out no questions asked. They have at some point had a run of bad tubes, as a result they are replacing them for anyone who calls, or if you filled out the warrenty card they will contact you. I called her the friday b4 Thanksgiving, had my replacement tube the day B4 Thanksgiving.

My buddy had a K&N CAI crack right a a weld. He talked to a K&N rep and they sent him a new one and did'ent even make him send in the old one. He has a SRT-4 so this is just not a Dakota intake problem.

I Just got mine replaced and K&N and Marti were awesome. Very prompt and without question. Definately will deal with them again. :clap2:

Thanks again guys for giving me this info in the FS tread...... I got my parts from Marti.... She replaced the tube and filter..... (Filter was hitting the horn because of the cracked tube) :banana2:

my buddy is on his 6th K&N tube. No problems at all, K&N keeps sending him new ones as they crack.

K-N is the best company i've dealt with and marti was as pleasant as they come.needed my filter the next day so she overnight shipped it.but i held up my end of the bargain and had my old one mailed off as soon as i could.
