WHO IS SIDEWINDER CUSTOMS?
Sidewinder Customs was created by Darren Alcorn, a long time Dakota owner and enthusiast. After combining Darren’s day job as an embroidery digitizer and his hobby of modifying his Dakota, he first started offering custom reupholstered sun visors with Darren’s unique touch of embroidered logos. After a while, he began looking at other aspects of his trucks interior. Soon after he began offering door panel inserts reupholstered and embroidered. This led to the additional Club Cab seating surfaces reupholstered as well as the headliner fabric which completes the interior modifications.

In 2006, after owning a Viper brake kit from a different company that suffered from many design flaws and safety issues, Darren began to co-design a completely new Brembo Viper Brake Conversion Kit. After nearly a year of designing, testing, and fine tuning Darren unveiled the new conversion kit in July of 2007. In addition to the brake kit, he also opened his new website http://www.sidewindercustoms.com which not only showcased his cosmetic and performance mods, but offered a one stop shop for these custom items.

WHAT DO YOU OFFER?
Sidewinder Customs offers embroidered and reupholstered sun visors, door panel inserts, club cab seating surfaces and headliner fabrics. Also for the performance minded the Brembo Viper brake conversion kit. All of these items are available for 2 wheel drive and 4 wheel drive 1997 through 2004 Dakotas and 1998 through 2003 Durangos.

HOW DO YOU PROCESS YOUR ORDERS?
All of the items may be purchased on the website at http://www.sidewindercustoms.com/products.html The visors, door panel inserts, and club cab seating areas all need to be sent in for the reupholstered process. No core exchange is needed for the brake kits.

WHAT TYPE OF FABRICS DO YOU OFFER AND DO YOU OFFER CUSTOM LOGOS?
All of the interior items can be reupholstered in many different fabric choices. Leather grade vinyl, suede, or even patterned fabrics can be used for upholstery. We have many popular stock logos to choose from which can be seen at http://www.sidewindercustoms.com/images/products/visorlogos.jpg or custom logos can be digitized for that ultra one-off custom look. HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER FOR INTERIOR PIECES?
Step 1: Purchase the items on the website

Step 2: Removing your interior items
Sun visors may be removed from the roof, and sent in. Door panel inserts need to be removed from the door panel and sent in. A tutorial for this may be found on the website at http://www.sidewindercustoms.com/sidewindercustoms-doors.pdf For the club cab seating, please send in all five pieces. The two seat cushions, the back panel which contain the back seat bolsters, and the left and right rear lower quarter panels that contain the side bolsters.

Step 3: Send the Part(s) to Sidewinder Customs
Send the part(s) to Sidewinder Customs at 670 Branch Tree Way, Lawrenceville, GA 30043. Make sure you wrap and pack the part(s) very well to avoid damage during shipping. Make sure to ship your parts via a traceable, insurable method. UPS, Fedex, and DHL are the best methods. Processing will take approximately two weeks on interior items. Sidewinder Customs will ship the finished parts directly to your shipping address.

HOW DO I PLACE AN ORDER FOR A BREMBO VIPER BRAKE CONVERSION KIT?
All of the pricing and info is available at http://www.sidewindercustoms.com/brakes.html  When ordering a brake kit, please add a note if you have Front ABS (Anti-Lock Braking System) on your Dakota or Durango. After you purchase the conversion kit you have two options to complete the kit: 1) You may obtain used Viper calipers and rotors from a 1992 through 2000 Dodge Viper, or 2) you may purchase NEW Viper calipers and rotors from Sidewinder Customs. WILL MY VEHICLE BE DISABLED WHILE THIS PROCESS IS HAPPENING?
Not at all. The interior items you’ve removed won’t affect the performance or drivability of your vehicle. The brake conversion kit may be installed at your convenience and since no core exchanges are needed, you won’t be rushed for time.
